Do you or have you ever named a car?
I have only owned one car that I felt compelled to name.
I had a teal Honda Civic that I got my senior year of high school.
The guy I was dating at the time was a "car namer" and pressured me into naming my car.
So I named it Jade and imagined that it was a very feminine acting gay man.
(OMG! I just realized that if you know Jon you are totally going to laugh your ass off at that last statement!! I must have been subconsciously retaliating!)

I don't really give my cars names, but I do refer to my current one as "the grey ghost." The "Exxon Valdez" is probably more appropriate, though. If I named it, I'd go with "Lord Eddington Manchester Of Northampton." Or "Sir Hedwig Ignacious Terwilliger, Practitioner In Law, Esq."
My mom is a car namer...yes you should name the caddy...maybe just "The Caddy" LOL ;)Oh and I ordered the book. Very anxious to get it! I got a used copy online for only 8 bucks because indeed, the library didn't have it.
Yes, I'm a car namer. My first car when I was sixteen was an old Honda Civic that was so small that it was round and you had to floor it for miles and pray to God that it would be long enough to pick up enough speed to merge onto the freeway without getting rear-ended. It sounded like it was powered by a pair of gerbils running in a wheel with it's tiny engine. I named it "Rum-Rum", but you have to say it in a high pitched cartoon voice to get the effect. Nowadays the names are usually after the model ie Safari, "Zuki" and the bus is the "Green Caterpillar" named for the kids. I used to own a beautiful '99 Mitsubishi Eclipse that Mark named Scooby and a Red Honda CRX called "Little Car" which we sang Happy Birthday to when it turned over 100K miles........ "Happy Birthday Little Ca-ar! Happy Birthday to you!"
