My goals as an unemployed bum...tee hee

It's official, I am a full time stay at home mom again and I am THRILLED!!!! I am looking forward to getting back to reality, back to the vision for my family and back to the person I am. So here are some goals and a lesson learned...

1) Spend time playing with my kids like I used to.
2) Get together with my friends more often.
3) Re-connect with the friends I have lost contact with and maintain new friendships
4) Cook dinner, have people over, enjoy my fabulous backyard with a pond, fire pit, miles of grass, rocking swing set, giant patio.
5) Talk to my husband about kids, plans, our house, vacation, his work...whatever
6) GO ON VACATION!!
7) Try to remember everyday how supportive, real, down to earth, rock solid, honest, hardworking and just freaking fantastic my whole family is.

I learned a great lesson yesterday...

MY DAD IS THE COOLEST DAD THAT EVER EXISTED!!!

Oh wait...I always knew that but I was reminded yesterday that all that dad, hero-worship crap...totally true! My dad IS a superhero!! Yesterday my dad single handedly lifted the largest burden on my life, thus far, with two simple words. Thanks Dad, I love you so much. I hope I can carry on your shining example of what an honest, hard working, savvy business person does but most of all I hope I can always remember that what is really important is NOT "all that glitters" but the people you love.

WOW Sarah!!!
Welcome to the world of truth and light. Thanks again for your kind words this morning... it really means a lot to me after all that has transpired. Maybe now... the Corinna haters can crawl back into their holes.
Have a great time re-connecting with all those around you... I promise it is one of the best feelings on earth.

Sara...

It does indeed sound like an enormous burden has been lifted from your shoulders and you sound at peace and VERY happy now...I'm so glad for you.

I love reading about how you feel about your dad...he sounds like an amazing father! You are so lucky for that. I remember a conversation we had awhile back regarding my dad and the entries I have written about him...and how much I miss him...on my own blog. I know you have a special and wonderful relationship with your dad and I'm sure he is very proud of you too right now.

Enjoy your FREEDOM and your kids and your hubby and your family and your house and your awesome-sounding yard!!!

Maybe we can get together and scrapbook sometime soon...

Sarah,
I am so happy for you and your family. That was a tremendous burden that you were carrying.
Live, love and laugh!
Good luck to you and your wonderful family.

Sarah,
I am so amazed that you and your family can walk through this with such grace and dignity. Simpsons could learn an awesome lesson from your whole family about honesty, integrity and being true to your word. Please know that anyone who knows your family will not believe the dilusional, denial stories they tell, thinking it will take the focus off of them. It must be very hard for them to sleep at night or hold their heads up with any kind of pride in what they have done. I am a true believer in the things you sow, you also reap. How sad for their loved ones who will also be affected by greed and deceit.
I know that you will all go on and continue being the same kind, good people you are. May you be blessed in all you do.
